The all volunteer California IPv6 Task Force in conjunction with the North American IPv6 Task Force has formed a collaborative effort with iStreet Solutions, a SAS 70 Type II Sacramento Data Center operator and Certified SAP Hosting Partner in Sacramento, California to establish the first MetroNet6 network point of presence. In conjunction with NTT America, Moonv6, and the Sacramento Technology Group, the MetroNet6 network project, housed at the iStreet Solutions Sacramento data center facility, will enable laboratory testing of real live communication applications for emergency services organizations and first responders in a non-profit, vendor agnostic environment.
