iStreet is a data center provider which operates and delivers colocation and managed IT services.  Enterprises, SMBs, and service providers use iStreet for the purpose of taking advantage of its turn-key data center solutions.

iStreet is completing the process for attaining SSAE 16 certification at its Sacramento data center used for its hosting, cloud, dedicated servers and Sacramento colocation offers.

iStreet has been SAS70 Type II certified since 2008 for both its Sacramento colocation and managed application hosting businesses.  It is currently completing the transition to the SSAE 16 program at its Sacramento Data Center Facility. The SSAE16 program also known as Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements Number 16 replaces the legacy SAS70 certification program which was retired in mid-2011.  In addition to the service offers mentioned above the SSAE16 certification will be a positive factor for its customers who choose iStreet SAP Certified Hosting and Cloud services.

The American Institute of CPA’s SSAE 16 program; “…addresses examination engagements undertaken by a service auditor to report on controls at organizations that provide services to user entities when those controls are likely to be relevant to user entities’ internal controls.”

This attestation provides iStreet customers and service providers the assurance that the most stringent of internal controls are in place and that it meets even the highest standards for all regulatory compliance, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), HIPAA, PCI and Gramm-Leach-Bliley (BLBA).

The SSAE 16 engagement is well underway and will be completed by summer 2012.
